Warren Foote was born in Dryden, N.Y. and died in Glendale, Kane County, Utah. He began the westward trek from Nauvoo to Utah following the death of his mother in 1846 as a part of a company of nine wagons captained by Jacob Myers. The company settled between 1846 and 1850 in Kanesville, Iowa (now Council Bluffs) where Myers built a mill. On June 11, 1850 the group left Kanesville to continue the journey to Utah.
